This weeks Music Monday is all about BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge videos!
BBC Radio 1 might just have the best Youtube channel out of all the radio stations. Their uploads range from: celeb/artist interviews, hilarious Innuendo Bingo vids and unbelievelable live covers from some of your favorite musicians. If you haven't subscribed to them, I suggest you do it now.
Here's a list of some of my favorite Live Lounge covers!

They say "two heads are better than one". In this case, they were right.
This week's Music Monday is inspired by the private event I attended at the 99.7 Lounge in San Francisco. Up and coming duo MKTO, stopped by and did an amazing acoustic performance of their songs "American Dream" and "Classic". Tony and Malcolm have great chemistry and this got me thinking about all the other duos out there in the industry that work perfectly together.
Here's a list of some duos you should check out!
Disclaimer: I know Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are pretty much on top of the world right now and everyone knows about them. But I've been following these guys since before their big break. The first time I saw them was at Hip Hop In The Park in 2010 for free. Now they're selling out Madison Square Garden 3 nights in a row. Crazy how far they've come since I last saw them. I would like to invite you check out their past work before "The Heist". You can see that Ben (Macklemore) did not cave in to the pressures of the industry. His songs are always original and his own sound. Thrift Shop was not meant to be "mainstream". That's just his personality and style.

Matt Pana released his very first Youtube video called, "Best Seat In The House". Check it out and subscribe to his channel!
Matt Pana has performed in 2 countries and traveled 11,000 miles by ground as drummer for the band Mitchell Grey.
In their first year alone, the band generated 1000+ Twitter followers, 3000+ Facebook likes, and garnered 100,000+ views on their YouTube channel. The dedication of their fans can be summarized in one event, raising $5000 in just 48 hours through Kickstarter (in total crossing the $8,000 mark).
They also achieved major success on the road, cultivating fan bases in major cities including Toronto and New York. The culmination of these travels would later give birth to their debut album On The Stellar Way.
Matt will be venturing into new territory, pursuing a career as a performer and personality. He’s added a microphone to his repertoire as the host of Likewise on iTunes. Each week, he sits down in-person with artists and personalities. Episodes include exclusive music, road stories, and humble beginnings.
His latest mission is to inspire and cultivate local artists, with the launch of his new YouTube channel and an open mic project slated for 2014.

This week's Music Monday was inspired after Rudimental's new music video for their song "Free". Its been a while since I was truly moved by a music video. The following songs deal with serious issues we face today. Please take the time to watch and listen. Spread the word about these issues.

We just wanted to express our gratitude to everyone who attended, volunteered, performed, and helped out with the Dare 2 Love Benefit Concert! Without you, the show would not be possible. Thank you for helping us create a beautiful and meaningful show. With your help, we were able to raise money for the Little Kids Rock Foundation! You have given the gift of music back to the kids, and that's all we could ask for. We hope everyone had a great time! To keep this short, we just wanted to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. Hope to see you next year!
